Prolific children's author and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.

An official for the company stated: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing any new titles by David Walliams."

Media sources suggest that the move was taken subsequent to an review of reports of conduct deemed unsuitable involving female individuals.

The publisher has not elaborated on the motivations for this action, stating: "We do not comment on internal matters."

A Highly Successful Writing Journey

Walliams is one of the UK's most best-selling authors for kids, having sold in excess of 60 million copies globally in 55 languages.

His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins back in 2008.

A number of his works, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into television films.

His bibliography includes in excess of 40 works altogether, which features a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins this past October.

His initial claim to fame came on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.

He received an OBE back in 2017 for his services to the charitable sector and arts community.

This move occurs subsequent to the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's recent CEO this past October.
