The former president's Family Member Seeks Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance
The rising star has considerable social media presence
Kai Trump will have plenty of well-known supporters as she makes her professional golf debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, was granted a special exemption to play at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates numerous international courses and regularly plays against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she mentioned.
She mentioned that Trump, unable to come, told her: "Just don't get nervous."
"He basically told me to play and enjoy myself," she explained.
"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, making him quite busy."
Being non-professional, the golfer has competed in just three tournaments in 2024 and has ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
But she can get advice from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He stands as the best player worldwide," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He advised me to compete, have fun, and go with the flow."
The golfer will compete against multiple the biggest names in the sport at the competition, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
The LPGA stated that her participation exposes the sport to wider groups, particularly among the next generation.
Kai maintains substantial online presence and recently launched a personal apparel and wellness company.
The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
